Nathan was a gambling addict sleeping on an airbed in his little brother’s room, contemplating taking his own life in 2018 after gambling away over £25,000!
He was running up payday loan and credit card debts to fund his addiction, spending his time at work as a PT on his phone or declining shifts to spend the day in the bookies betting on football, horses and roulette.
He reached rock bottom, and then a moment with a client who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer completely changed Nathan’s life.
He educates workplaces on gambling harms and the impact in your business, showing tips and tricks on how to spot and approach people struggling with this silent addiction.
Nathan’s story is relatable to all workers in any industry. He had a passion for betting on sport at any early age, and it simply got out of hand.
